Bill Bowman has successfully defended hundreds of DUI cases in over 18 counties across Washington state. At SGB, Bill continues to use his creative trial techniques to achieve impressive results in DUI cases across the state of Washington. He is one of only three lawyers in the state to complete the Washington State Patol's Breath Test Training Program. Bill's extensive knowledge of breath alcohol testing has led to significant legl challenges to Washington's DUI breath testing program and has affected the admissibility of breath test evidence in hundreds of DUI cases throughout the state.
In his almost two decades of practice, Bill has earned a reputation as one of the top DUI attorneys in the state. He is regularly called upon by the judiciary, the legislature and other lawyers to educate them about breath testing and cutting-edge DUI issues and to testify about DUI legislation. A former Public Defender and Deputy King County Prosecutor, Bill was a founding partner of the well-regarded DUI defense law firm Fox Bowman Duarte prior to joining SGB.
Bill came to SGB to work with a criminal defense team that is responsible for some of the most significant trial victories in the state of Washington and that is well known for caring about their clients on a personal level. The criminal defense team at SGB goes out of its way to ensure that their clients receive the highest quality representation as well as the individual attention and high level of service that every client deserves.
Bill has represented people from all walks of life, from CEOs of major corporations to stay-at-home moms, sports figures and politicians to blue-collar workers, judges and police officers to teachers and waiters.
He has been repeatedly selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics magazine and has been names to Seattle Magazine's list of "Seattle's Best Lawyers." Additionally, Bill was recently honored as one of the "Best Lawyers in America." |

An excellent attorney
I was recently charged for hit and run unattended. I’ve never got a traffic ticket and I’ve never been in court before. I just feel so stressed, but I have to go through this anyway. I was not happy with the attorneys I interviewed until I met Bill. Bill was so professional and knowledgeable. He knows exactly how to fight for you. After I talked to him about my case, he listed several options and the best possible outcome. Then he started to work on it right away. He is very patient, always listening to my concerns and questions. I just can’t imagine how I could get my case dismissed without Bill. I would highly recommend Bill!

An outstanding DUI attorney
Bill Bowman is an outstanding DUI attorney and I strongly recommend him to anyone needing representation. After my arrest for DUI he was referred to me by a friend. I'm glad I followed up and contacted Mr Bowmans office. Bill is very knowledgeable in the field of DUI and this was evident when I observed other attorneys ask him questions during pre-trial proceedings. Bill would always insure that I understood what was going on during court proceedings and he or a represenative from his office would always keep me informed on court/DOL matters and would answer any questions. I was very comfortable working with Mr. Bowman and STRONGLY recommend him to others.

Thank you
Guidance that not only positively affected the outcome of my case, but that helped me get my life back. Prior to hiring a lawyer, I researched DUI lawyers and was most impressed by Bill and his firm. Bill and his staff were there the entire way with no stones unturned throughout the duration of my case. He answered all my questions and had my best interest in mind at all times. I would not hope this situation on anyone, but in the case that you do need a lawyer, Bill is best for the job!

Excellent DUI lawyer
Bill recently represented me in a DUI case and came highly recommended. He was able to put my mind at ease throughout this very stressful time. He kept me informed each step of the way, explaining the situation, worst and best scenario. If I had any questions I always knew I could call and he or his staff would take the time to answer my questions. In the end I feel Bill got me the best possible outcome. It could have been much worse. I would highly recommend Mr Bowman to anyone who needs legal representation for a DUI. He and his staff are very professional and it shows.

Great service, worth every penny
Provided DUI counsel for me, available, professional, clear. End result was reduced charge and the money I saved on fine reduction and by not needing high-risk insurance or safety interlock device was enough to cover the attorney fee!
