To the attorneys and staff at SGB, success means achieving legal and social justice for our clients, whether it's through a jury verdict or a settlement. Some of the best moments in our firm's history have been winning cases for individuals and families for whom the victory meant a better life.
PENDING CASES
Wage and Hour Class Actions for Unpaid Drive Time SGB represents employees of several companies in employment class actions seeking overtime wages for unpaid drive time in company vehicles. These cases build on SGB's success in Stevens v. Brink's Home Security, Inc., in which the Washington Supreme Court held that workers who were dispatched directly from their homes to job sites in company vehicles must be paid for their travel time under Washington law.
SGB has filed class action lawsuits against the following companies that dispatched service and installation technicians and other workers from their homes to job sites throughout Seattle, the Puget Sound region, and Washington State. Some of the cases seek compensation only for unpaid travel time. In other cases, we also seek overtime wages and backpay for other unpaid work time in addition to unpaid drive time. Follow the links below to find specific information about each case, or contact SGB by phone or ¬email for information about travel and drive time pay issues for these and other companies.
