Attorneys Bill Bowman and Brit Mercer Join SGB’s Criminal Defense Practice
SEATTLE (December 8, 2010) – SGB has announced that two highly regarded Seattle criminal defense attorneys, Bill Bowman and Brit Mercer, will join SGB’s Criminal Defense practice as Of Counsel on January 1, 2011. They join Jeffery Robinson, Colette Tvedt and Joseph Campagna in the practice.
Bill Bowman, formerly of Fox Bowman Duarte, will move his well-established DUI practice to SGB. Bowman is regarded as one of the state’s leading experts on DUI law. A former public defender and Deputy King County Prosecutor, he has successfully defended DUI cases in over 18 counties across the state.
Brit Mercer joins SGB’s Criminal Defense practice after eight years in private practice. Mercer has devoted her law career to defending individuals accused of crimes and has represented hundreds of people in municipal, district, superior and federal courts. She has experience defending DUIs and other criminal traffic violations, domestic violence, serious crimes and misdemeanor charges.
