SGB Attorneys Are Successful in Protecting State Minimum Wage Increase
The Washington State Farm Bureau and three other business groups challenging the increase to the state minimum wage increase to $8.67 per hour announced that they decided to drop their case. On January 13, 2011, these business groups filed a motion with the Kittitas Superior Court to voluntarily dismiss their lawsuit. SGB attorneys, Martin Garfinkel, Adam Berger, Bill Rutzick and Lindsay Halm, represented the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and its director Judy Schurke in this case.
