SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY:
Help with the initial applications
The initial application is an important step in the disability process. If you are denied benefits at the initial application stage, you may have to wait years to get the benefits you deserve. While some attorneys tell their clients to “go apply and come back if you are denied benefits,” we will help you prepare your case from the beginning so that you have the best chance of being awarded benefits early.
There are several stages of appeal in the Social Security Disability process.
- Initial Application. This stage usually takes about 6 months.
- Reconsideration. This stage usually takes about 6 months.
- Hearing: This stage usually takes about 18 months.
- Appeals Council: This stage usually takes about 24 month.
